About The Tehran Furniture Society (TEFSO) :
Although there is more than
25 centuries of experience in designing and manufacturing
furniture in Iran, there was no recognized need for cooperation
and collaboration among designers, manufacturers, galleries,
academicians, etc. in this sector.
In the early 21st century,
the 1st meeting was held in Tehran and the need for
establishment of The Tehran Furniture Society (TEFSO) was
expressed and emphasized by all participants. The first meetings
the Founding Body approved the proposed constitution of
TEFSO.
In the same meeting, the members of Executive Council were
elected. Finally in 2007,
Obtaining appropriate license from The Ministry of Labor &
Social Affairs under article 131 of Labor Law of Iran,
TEFSO was officially registered under No. 309
dated 16 Oct. 2007.
